Another Amazing Animal Rescue!

If there’s one this we love here at the Baby Animal Zoo, it’s a good rescue story, and this one is a doozy! As you can see in the video above the Michigan Humane Society is made up of some truly caring individuals, and they enlisted the help of some other great people to rescue the puggle-daschund mixed pup from the drain pipe that it had been stuck in for over 12 hours. The pups’ owner said that it had ventured into the pipe (keep a better eye on your pets people!) the night before and became stuck more than 15 feet in. Kevin Hatman of the Humane Society was first on the scene and last to leave, as he and people like Aaron Baughey dug with shovels, their hands, and finally an excavator over 16 feet down before they finally were able to cut the pipe and free the little guy. Although it was dehydrated and cold, the Detroit pup is said to be doing just fine; great job guys!
